Anastasia Edakina

We are very pleased to announce that one of the Nordic’s leading experts in capital adequacy has joined NFR Group. We warmly welcome Anastasia Edakina!

Anastasia brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector, including several years at the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet). She is one of the foremost experts in the Nordic region on solvency regulations such as capital adequacy (CRR/CRD), including the IRB framework, and recovery and resolution regulation (BRRD). In addition, Anastasia Edakina has solid expertise in IFRS9, where she has previously worked with audit reviews and the development of ECL models.

In recent years, Anastasia has supported the Nordic financial sector as an advisor in risk management and compliance, primarily assisting companies in areas such as capital adequacy, credit risk, and operational risk, as well as counterparty risk and market risk.

I look forward to helping our clients with various issues related to risk management and capital requirements regulations. In the area of capital requirements, the upcoming CRR3 has been a key focus recently. However, the ‘CRR3 journey’ is far from over, as many detailed requirements and clarifications related to CRR3 are expected in the future, which must be considered when implementing the new regulations. It is also important to keep an eye on other, somewhat ‘forgotten’ areas of CRR3, such as Pillar 3 reporting and the new CVA calculations, says Anastasia Edakina.

In recent years, Anastasia has assisted numerous clients in the Nordic region with, among other things, the implementation of capital requirements regulation, capital efficiency and internal capital and liquidity assessment (ICAAP/ILAAP), and is a well-known profile in the market.

– I have worked with capital adequacy for many years and conclude that Anastasia has a unique competence and insight into the regulatory framework. We look forward to Anastasia becoming part of NFR Group and supporting our clients in several relevant and complex areas. We welcome Anastasia to NFR Group and are confident that she will contribute significantly to our continued development, says Johan Røthe.
